This week in JK1 we are working on NEW tricks! On the bars, we are working on adding turns and climbing to the high bar while still using the skills we have used in the past to help us build strength and muscle memory. On the floor we have more of an open floor plan to work on more advanced tumbling skills such as, front handsprings, limbers and our bridges. We are also using vault and trampoline this week to work on our jumping and dive rolls, as well as quarters on and of the vault. We always practice or jump shapes on the trampoline to drill the importance of repetition and muscle memory.
