Welcome to Week One of our Spring session at JK1! As our new athletes are welcomed into the gym, we set our water bottles to the side and begin our group warm up! This week's warm up is 8 dynamic exercises that help us work our gymnastics shapes as well as strengthen our muscles. Then, we break into our classes and begin to move through the stations in the gym. On the bars we are working on our front supports as well as swinging under the bar. On the vault lane we are practicing proper use of a springboard as well as our squat-on and even round offs, on the vault.
