Classes run during the day and in the evenings during the week, as well as on Saturday mornings. Team athletes practice after school and on Saturday mornings. We are searching for individuals able to assist with daytime classes (9:30-4pm), as well as individuals who are able to coach our evening classes (4-8pm) and/or work with our competitive athletes. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Front Desk Receptionist/Office Assistant
Looking for two motivated, enthusiastic and organized individuals to help JK Gymnastics thrive and grow from Mondays-Fridays.
We are looking for both a daytime staff member (10am-4pm) and an evening staff member (4-8pm). These positions will work closely with the head coaches and the gym clientele.
We are excited to welcome our USAIGC athletes back to practice this week. Training Team, Intramural, and recreational athletes will return to the gym beginning next Monday, September 9th.
We have extremely limited availability remaining in our Fall classes. Please check our website for all of the details on open classes.
Please note that due to the hustle and bustle of fall, we will not be offering any Open Gym times during the month of September. We will send out an email with Open Gym details once we have finalized them.
Our team gymnasts have been hard at work so far this summer. With a variety of outdoor cardio training, these girls have shown their strength! During week 4 the groups focused on field running. Their jog-sprint-jog pattern with fashion walks every 5 minutes was nothing short of challenging and they definitely perservered!
After building their bone density with 59 minutes
of outdoor concrete based running in 91 degree weather these girls deserved more than a break in the AC! Keeping up with their daily cardio training has shown to improve their overall performance in the gym!
Coach Ali, our dance instructor, has been helping our girls with their breathing exercises and showing them how to feel the muscle groups needed in our fluidity and flexibility!
We are currently in week 5 of our summer session! This weeks lesson plan includes activities from trampoline noodle jumps to springboard games and everything in between! Our athletes will have fun learning how to run, hurdle, and jump up high this week!
Our campers are visiting Australia this week. They will be enjoying an Austrailian Fairy Bread snack this Thursday! They will be making crafts with an Australian theme all week including a Koala puppet, a paper boomerang, a paper plate Sydney Opera House, and more!
With only 2 weeks left, next our campers are headed to South America!
We are very excited to begin our Real Life Ninja classes starting Fall 2019! The ninja classes will all be following an official ninja program created by well-know ninja Drew Drechsel. These classes are focused on gaining strength, conditioning, and agility skills. Our Real Life Ninja classes are invite-only. We suggest anyone who is interested in this class start out in a "Bee Strong" class to build foundation!
We are happy to announce that our Fall registration will open this coming Monday, June 24th at noon. This fall we are excited to offer several new classes, including several 90-minute JK Tumble classes and our first Real Life Ninja classes. All enrollment will be available online beginning on Monday, June 24th. Please note that all Real Life Ninja classes will require instructor approval prior to enrollment. As a reminder, there is no priority enrollment for the Fall session. We expect many of these classes to fill quickly, so we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible.
